The Importance of Family Business Education, UNPAR collaborate with FBN

UNPAR.AC.ID, Bandung – Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Yayasan Fitra Bisnis Keluarga Nusantara (FBN), Wednesday (28/9/2022). This collaboration is expected to support the Family Business Management Education process at the UNPAR management study program.

The scope of the cooperation consists of the following:

  1. Cooperation program of teaching and education
  2. Academic research for students and lecturers with topics and procedures that will be agreed upon soon.
  3. Community service will be conducted together
  4. To start a collaboration with other sectors

The MoU was signed by Dean of Economy Faculty Dr. Budianan Gomulia, Dra., M.Si., with the Head of FBN George Alain Garot. After the MoU, the activity continued with a public lecture about “Governance and Risk Management of Family Business” delivered by Shanti Poesposoetjipto, founder of FBN and head of PT Samudera Indonesia Tbk. 

Head of UNPAR Management Study Program Economy Faculty Brigita Meylianti Sulungbudi Ph.D., ASCA, CIPM., said that this collaboration is an opportunity for students to develop their knowledge about the importance of Family Business Management practice.
