On Friday, October 4th, 2019, Parahyangan Catholic University (Unpar) conducted the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in regards of continuing cooperation between Unpar and Samosir Regency (Kabupaten Samosir) in the aspect of development and tourism. This occasion was facilitated by Unpar International Office (IO).
Not only Unpar and Samosir are involved in the meeting, the Alumni Association of Unpar (IKA Unpar) as well as Unpar Department of Architecture representatives also took part in the signing of MoU.
Aside of Rector Mangadar presence, also presented that day is the Regent of Samosir, Drs. Rapidin Simbolon, M.M., along with his deputies and assistants, as well as the deans of each faculty in Unpar, and some representatives from IKA Unpar.
The cooperation mainly discussed about the developments in the Regency of Samosir. These developments come in many ways, including tree plantings, as well as the promotion of local tourist destinations. By signing this MoU, hopefully can bring benefits to each party.
