On the 24th – 25th of March, 2019 Unpar was honored to be the host of 27th INU Council and Executive Meeting. This is an annual meeting held yearly at one of the INU members university. The meeting was attended by Professor Martyn Jones as the INU president, INU coordinators, and several member university representatives from nine countries. The International Network Universities (INU) itself is a global consortium comprised of 11 universities from all around the world. This consortium links higher education institutions that are actively seeking international partnership and experiences. Moreover, INU members also aim to create innovative programs that embrace internationalisation movement.
The agenda of the meeting was about governance and finance, new members proposals, operational plan, activities update, council survey, etc. Besides the meeting, there was also welcoming dinner. The welcoming dinner was opened by welcoming remarks from Mr. Mangadar Situmorang as Unpar’s rector and Mr. Martyn Jones as the INU president. Moreover, the members also watched Merak traditional dance performed by Listra. Hopefully, with this event the bond within the INU members will be strengthen and the meeting can produce the best outcome for all of the INU members.
