A position has become available for the position of Program Intern in the Australian Consortium for ‘In-Country’ Indonesian Studies (ACICIS) Bandung office.
This is an internship position and would suit a student in their final semester with an interest in International Relations, Australia-Indonesia Politics, Cross-Cultural Communication, and public diplomacy.

As a Program Intern, you will:
- contribute to people-to-people diplomacy between Australia and Indonesia through higher education through active involvement in the preparation and implementation of ACICIS programs in Bandung, the International Relations Program (IRP) and West Java Field Study (WJFS).
- help foreign students to adjust to the academic culture as a student at Universitas Katolik Parahyangan (UNPAR) and Indonesian life in general.
- Serve as a liaison with the partner university (UNPAR) and internship host organisations to maintain sound relationships with key personnel at these institutions.
The Program Intern will work on a part time basis (~20 hours per week) with the understanding that the scheduling of program events means that the distribution of hours over the period of a week may be flexible. The internship will be for a period of 6 months from 1 January to 30 June 2019.
To accommodate the intern’s needs in delivering the works with ACICIS, a monthly transportation and communication allowance during the internship period will be provided.
