In the series of KAA’s 62nd Anniversary, in order to foster good relationships among foreign students KAA Museum held an International Students Gathering (ISG) on Friday (21/4/2017) evening. A total of 100 students not only from Asia Africa but also America, Australia, and Europe attended the event.

Secretary of the Directorate General of Information and Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Azis Nurwahyudi in his speech said, “The Government of Indonesia through KNB scholarship has provided opportunities for potential students from countries to gain knowledge in 16 best universities in Indonesia.” This golden opportunity is expected to have a positive impact for them after returning from Indonesia. Furthermore Aziz also added that during their stay in Indonesia, they can also promote the culture of their respective countries. By understanding each other’s culture, it becomes the first step to motivate the world in the wider scope.

In the ISG event, foreign students received reflection on KAA values ??and a brief exposure of the spirit of Bandung presented by KAA Museum educator named Desmond S. Andrian. Meanwhile, the latest development of the non-aligned movement as a follow-up to the ideals of KAA was presented by the Venezuelan ambassador to Indonesia.

ISG organized by KAA will not only strengthen the relationship with the foreign students but of course also with the office of international affairs in various universities in the city of Bandung. Furthermore, KAA Museum in the future will continue to develop the enrichment program of KAA values ??with international affairs office for foreign students in Bandung city.
