OPEN RECRUITMENT : NOW OR NEVER FOR UNPAR STUDENTS’ PARTICIPATION AT INTERNATIONAL EVENTS

International Office hereby announces a one and the only open recruitment for UNPAR students to participate at international events that will be held by several international or national institutions such as:

  • Summer seminar or master school on Global Citizenship at Hiroshima University on 3-10 August 2013 (place: 4 undergraduate students and 1 Master Student);
  • ASSEACU Conference at Korea Catholic University on 22-25 August 2013 (place: 2 students);
  • ACUCA Student Camp (it is not yet announced the date and venue of the 2013 Student Camp, usually it is held in August, (place: 2 students);
  • UN 4th University Scholars Leadership Symposium 2013 – Manila, Philippines on 1-7 August 2013 (place: 2 student);
  • The 5th DREaM International Summer Program on 18-30 August 2013 (UGM-Jogjakarta, place: 1 student);
  • Tentative opportunity(ies): Additional events will be toted up when UNPAR in the future decides to participate at other important events organized by other institutions (it is not based on the personal initiative).

 

WHO ARE ELIGIBLE?

  • Active Students of UNPAR, Graduate or Undergraduate (at least the 4th semester student);
  • Cumulative GPA : at least 2.5;
  • Fluent English Proficiency (written and spoken English).

 

WHEN IS THE RECRUITMENT?

Open Recruitment will be held at Room 0219 (Rectorate building – 2nd floor)

Date: Wednesday, 10 April 2013

For Graduate students at 09.30 – 11.00;

For Undergraduate students at 11.00 – 14.00.

You have to be there at least 10 minutes before the recruitment will be started.

 

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO PREPARE?

  • Provide your Application Letter (before the application, mention 3 priorities of your preferential events at the right top of the page – do preliminary observation about the event by googling them at the internet), a Curriculum Vitae, an Academic Transcript, a Motivation Letter (an essay, no longer than 1 page) about: why do you want to participate at international event? Why do you think that you are eligible as an UNPAR delegation member? What is your perception about yourself as an UNPAR student in the global world?
  • For the interview: study the concept of Disaster as a Global Issue and the concept of Disaster Management (in interdisciplinary approach).

Submit your required documents to: io@unpar.ac.id before 7 April 2013 at 23.59 PM.
