Handong International Law School was founded in 2002 with a mission to prepare “lawyers without borders†for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century. Located on the Handong Global University campus in Pohang, Korea. HILS offers a unique legal education designed to educate men and women for global engagement from a distinctively Christian perspective.
With GKS Program, you may participate in M.A.(Master of International Legal Studies) 2-year program which is for the legal professionals who already have law license in their countries, and seeking further education.
GKS that is supported by the government of the Republic of Korea, is implemented by the National Institute for International Education, which is an organization operating under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Science Technology.
For 2013 GKS, Korean government invites 760 international students from 149 countries who wish to pursue a graduate (Masters and Doctoral) degree in Korea. To be selected as a KGSP grantee, any applicant should successfully pass through the 1st selection process set by the Korean embassies (please see the attached file) or designated Korean Universities (60 only) of his or her origin.
So to apply for the program, please contact the 1st selection organizations to get detailed information on the 1st selection process such as application deadline and required documents, etc.
